
UMS Summer Camp 2025
For Ages 18 mo - 9 years old
UMS offers Discovery Camps yearly, Campers are divided into age-appropriate cohorts, supervised by a qualified childcare worker and an assistant. Each camp week features: games, arts & crafts, outdoor & indoor physical activity, special visitors & events, trail adventures, water fun days, music rhymes, puzzles, stories and much, much more! Campers will be emailed a detailed week schedule and all the information to make their week a success prior to the start of camp in July. Please view our brochure for more information.Â

Set out on an interstellar adventure with a cosmic-themed week for campers. Activities include stargazing, crafting mini-rocket ships, and thrilling space missions. Campers will learn about gravity and black holes through interactive experiments, create alien life forms, and design futuristic space colonies, ensuring an exciting and imaginative experience! (*4 day Week)

Campers will explore ocean life through activities like an underwater safari, mythical mermaids, and water-based games. They'll learn about ocean conservation, create sea creature crafts, and participate in scavenger hunts and deep-sea explorations. The week promises creative storytelling and hands-on experiments focused on protecting marine ecosystems, ensuring fun and adventure.

Join an exciting journey through diverse ecosystems, where campers will learn about exotic animals and conservation. Activities include guided nature walks, storytelling, hands-on animal encounters, and interactive exhibits. Campers will also participate in nature-inspired crafts and eco-friendly projects, culminating in an animal-tracking adventure to uncover hidden wildlife clues.

Join our pirate-themed camp for a week of adventures, including treasure hunts, map decoding, and pirate gear creation. Campers will learn pirate lingo, build treasure chests, navigate obstacle courses, and develop teamwork skills through scavenger hunts and storytelling. They'll also make pirate flags and participate in a water battle, earning official pirate badges by the end of the week.

Join a magical adventure where aspiring witches and wizards will create potions, practice spell-casting, and immerse themselves in imaginative role-playing. Campers will craft wands, design spellbooks, and engage in wizard duels while conducting chemistry experiments that mimic real magic. They will also hunt for magical creatures, solving riddles and discovering surprises. A week filled with wonder and mystery awaits!

Young detectives will engage in a thrilling week of problem-solving, uncovering clues, and solving mysteries. Campers will learn detective techniques like fingerprint analysis and cipher decoding while participating in spy-themed obstacle courses and escape-room-style puzzles. By the end of the week, they will graduate as elite secret agents, prepared for their next big case! (*4 day week)

This action-packed week equips campers with essential survival skills, including building shelters, navigating with a compass, starting campfires, finding safe food, and purifying water. Participants engage in team challenges that test their resilience and adaptability, while guided nature hikes offer experience in identifying plants and animal tracks. Through hands-on activities and adventure games, campers build confidence and self-reliance in the outdoors.

Join this artistic adventure where campers will explore various art forms, including painting, sculpting, and digital art. They'll draw inspiration from famous artists and movements to create their own masterpieces through projects like mural painting and recycled sculptures. A mini art exhibition at the week's end will showcase their work, helping young artists develop their talents and confidence in creativity.
Little Tykes (ages 18mo - 30mo)

Licensed under the CCEYA, our littlest campers follow a regimented schedule with some themed activities and outside activities. A meal plan, which includes morning and afternoon snacks and lunch is included in the cost. This program is only offered to children enrolled in UMS’ yearly Pre Casa program.
