Admissions

Join a Community That Inspires, Guides, and Challenges

Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family can make—and we’re here to help. At Uxbridge Montessori School, we are committed to making the admissions process clear, welcoming, and supportive from the first inquiry to the first day of school. Whether you’re exploring our Pre-Casa Program or looking for a new academic home through Middle School, our team is ready to guide you every step of the way.

Our Admissions Philosophy

We believe that a successful school experience begins with a strong partnership between school and family. Our admissions process is designed to ensure UMS is a good fit—not only for your child, but for your family values and educational goals.

We welcome children who are:

  • Curious, capable, and eager to learn
  • Independent in spirit and kind in heart
  • Ready to grow academically, socially, and emotionally

And we value families who:

  • Appreciate hands-on, individualized learning
  • Support independence and responsibility
  • Want to nurture a lifelong love of learning

Admissions Process

Our process is designed to be straightforward, supportive, and family-focused:

1. Book a Private Tour

We strongly encourage all prospective families to schedule a tour. Walking through our classrooms, meeting our educators, and observing our students in action is the best way to experience what makes UMS unique. Alternatively, come visit us during our Open House events —no appointment necessary.

2. Submit an Application

After your visit, families may complete an application form and submit it along with any required documents. Our admissions team will provide step-by-step guidance to ensure a smooth process.

3. Student Visit or Interview

Depending on the child’s age, we may arrange an informal visit or interview so we can get to know your child and answer any further questions.

4. Admissions Decision

Admissions decisions are shared shortly after the student visit. If a space is not currently available, families may choose to remain on a waitlist.
